Summer is coming to a close, but since it’s sunny year long in LA, (and it’s always summer somewhere just a short plane ride away), there are always ways to integrate bold versatile swim pieces. I try to get as much wear as I can out of each piece, so the thing that struck me about this one-piece was that it looked almost as much like a body-suit you could wear to brunch, as it does something to wear by a pool (or on a yacht in St Barth, I don’t know if it’s the stripes or something).

Pair with a cute skirt and a straw hat for a laid back nautical look. That said, the pattern on this is so striking I can totally see it as part of a bolder night-time look. There is a silver zip all the way up the back which is a skin-toned sheer panel that extends to the side cutouts. The one-piece comes all the way up to your neckline at the front – I love the side-cutout/backless sheer design because it shows off a decent bit of skin (if you’ve got it, work it ♥), while actually covering up for when you’re not necessarily poolside. ❤
